Learn how to use routine medical data for your research project!

The Medical Informatics Initiative and the associated establishment of Data Integration Centers at university hospitals are creating entirely new opportunities to use health care data for research purposes across disciplines and locations.

What is offered?

In the online course for clinician scientists, researchers learn how to obtain and evaluate the health care data available in the Data Integration Centers in the context of their research questions. The course covers both organisational and methodological aspects.

Who benefits?

The course is intended for physicians and other clinician scientists who are planning or have already started their own data use project.

The MII Academy was previously initiated by the SMITH Consortium as SMITH Academy and is now being extended to other sites of the Medical Informatics Initiative.
