18 August 2016. Professor Martin Dugas, Director of the Institute of Medical Informatics at Münster University, launched the kick-off meeting for the ADMIRE consortium on 18 August in Münster, Germany, stating: “We have an admirable goal in our sights”. Representatives from participating university hospitals in Münster, Cologne, Bonn, Essen and Düsseldorf were present. Dugas and his team are coordinating the project, which is being funded for a nine-month conceptual phase by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), within the scope of its Medical Informatics Initiative.
