22 September 2017. The 2017 annual conference of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS) took place in Oldenburg. Four consortia from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research’s (BMBF) Medical Informatics Initiative (MII), selected for further funding in the development and networking phase, presented their concepts to a wider audience for the first time. During the subsequent panel discussion, they debated the future development of corresponding infrastructure.
